Pepsi to pep up youth this summer

CHENNAI, May 13: Pepsi has launched a unique offer for youth this summer called `Pepsi Stuff'. Under this scheme, they will be able to avail themselves of a heavy discount on jeans, sneakers, watches, gift items and other goodies.

All they have to do is own a `Pepsi Stuff' card, which is available with leading stores retailing Pepsi across 50 cities in India.

For the promotion, Pepsi has tied up with four major brands - Levi's, Reebok, Timex and Archies. Adding colour to this are city-specific partners covering discounts and deals on fast food, cinemas, entertainment parks, computer courses and youth activities in the summer vacation.

In exchange for 24 crowns and Rs 20, young Pepsi drinkers will get a Pepsi Stuff kit which contains the Pepsi Stuff card, and a coupon booklet. The coupon booklet contains various offers from national and regional partners.Each of the national partners is making a series of offers on its products, like for example, Rs 200 off on Levi's Orange tab jeans, Rs 400 off on a range of Reebok shoes, Rs 200 off on Timex Sports watches, and various other offers from these as well as Pepsi and Archies.

Launched in the first week of May, this offer is supported by an integrated communication package including a television commercial, press ads, billboards and point-of-purchase material.

Catalogues will be distributed, featuring the brands on offer with Pepsi models Rahul Dravid, Andre Agassi and Shaquille O'Neal.
