Allianz open to being minority partner with Alpic Finance

[Details] Allianz AG is open to being a minority partner in its health insurance joint venture with Alpic Finance Ltd. Under the terms of the MoU, Allianz AG, along with its Asia-Pacific partner Australian MMI Insurance Group, will float an insurance joint venture in the country. The joint venture is a part of the strategy to project the Alpic Finance as a universal bank.

Hindalco keen on selling excess power to UP board

[Details] Hindalco Industries, the AV Birla group company, is negotiating with the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board for sale of excess power after the expansion of its captive power facilities in Renusagar, Uttar Pradesh. It had previously announced plans of increasing captive power generating capacity to hike its smelting capacity to 242,000 tonnes.
