This is seen from the alacrity with which not just Pakistan but Sri Lanka and Maldives have demurred at the proposal for taking the first tentative steps towards forming a South Asian economic community comprising the seven SAARC countries.

Though the concept of holidaying cannot be catered to fully in a country like India where most people are limited salary earners, it is nevertheless not given up.
