Investors warned over fake Sesa Goa shares

[Details] Sesa Goa and the Bombay Stock Exchange have warned investors about the circulation of company's forged share certificates in the market. Though the cause of the delay is not known, many investors, would have been receiving bad delivery shares. The company claims to have already taken up the matter with appropriate authorities for investigation and necessary action.

Templeton to float money market mutual fund

[Details] Templeton Mutual Fund is planning to launch a money market mutual fund to meet the short-term investment needs of its investors. It has already launched the Templeton India Growth Fund, for the long-term and the Templeton India Income Fund for the medium-term. The scheme, primarily an equity scheme, has invested only 57% of its funds in stocks.

Zee Telefilms scrip soars 42%

[Details] The price of the Subhash Chandra-controlled Zee Telefilms scrip has soared nearly 42% in the past 10 trading days in anticipation of the management allowing foreign institutional investors to raise their stake in the company from 24% to 30%.
