CRB Shares staff knock Sena doors over dues

MUMBAI, May 16: The CRB Caps episode has taken a new turn with employees of one of the group firms, CRB Shares & Stockbrokers Ltd, moving the Shiv Sena for settlement of their dues. The firm's employees insist that the establishments BSE broking card be sold to settle their dues. Although the company has been regular in payment of salaries till April, the employees fear that following a run on the deposits, the NBFC will not be in a position to clear the statutory dues now. The staff of the broking firm, in association with Share Bazar Staff Union, have taken up the matter with the Shiv Sena. According to sources in the Share Bazar Staff Union, union chairman Sanjay Ghadi, president Anant Desai, and secretary Vijay Mandokar met the CRB Shares & Stock Brokers' employees. Ghadi is also the general secretary of Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena whose president is Raj Thackeray, nephew of Shiv Sena party chief Bal Thackeray.
