Chairman & managing director, Suresh Krishna, received the award in Rio De Janeiro. This is the first time that an Indian corporation has been selected by GM worldwide for this prestigious award. Sundaram Fasteners is the principal supplier of radiator caps to GM. The company was selected from a list of 30,000 suppliers for this award. A part of the TVS group, Sundaram Fasteners' business interests include cold extruded & powder metal parts, iron powder and radiator caps. Apart from a leading OEM supplier here, the company exports its products to the US, Europe and the Far East. Mahindra Ford dealer network MUMBAI: Mahindra Ford, the joint venture company of Mahindra & Mahindra and Ford Motor Company of the US, will expand its dealer network to include Pune, Jaipur, Ludhiana, Kochi, Coimbatore, Indore and Vadodara over the next six months. The company first kicked off with 11 dealerships at Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad. Branches were later opened to include Nashik, Pondicherry, and Bhatinda. Some of the new dealerships will be opening their branches at Calicut, Madurai, Surat, Bhopal, Amritsar and other cities. All the dealerships will have a state-of-the-art workshop with sophisticated equipment including straightening jigs and dust-free paint booths, according to a press release issued by the company. BoI to join depository MUMBAI: Bank of India has decided to dematerialise its shares in its board meeting held on Wednesday. The necessary agreement to this effect will be signed with National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL). Tata Donnelley expansion plan HYDERABAD: Tata Donnelley Ltd, is to expand its direct marketing data base services in other cities including Hyderabad soon, increasing its reach from the present four centres. The company, which is a leading name in Yellow Page publications and buyers guides, is also to kickoff a unique concept in direct marketing for providing cooperative DM sourcing for its clients in varied sectors, V Pradeep Kumar, General Manager (South), said. Since direct marketing is turning out to be an expensive option for many businesses, particularly the smaller ones, the new concept would enable non-competing firms to share resources for a greater reach. Tata Donnelley would basically bundling direct mailers and other DM techniques to provide the maximum benefit to clients, he said. The company on Thursday announced the release of the first edition of the Yellow Pages for Hyderabad which has a print run of 1,10,000. Apart from buyers guides and yellow pages, the company is also into printing annual reports and special interest publications. Recently it launched the country's first photographic magazine while it is also planning several other similar publications in the coming months, he said.
