Unnecessary obligations

Pal-Peugeot, Daewoo Motors, General Motors Ford, Mercedes Benz have all been affected by their inability to fulfill their export obligations. The silence maintained by the DGFT on the import licensing issue for CKDs kits has hit the profitability of these companies.

Where is all the FDI going?

Foreign Investment Promotion Board approvals over the last few years,have flooded the country with new industrial units, generating massive employment, income and demand for wage goods and consumer items. In reality, the foreign direct investment scene looks to be totally different.

Wishing subsidies away
