The Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Company (DMCC) plans to restructure the equity of its proposed Rs 200-crore chemical port terminal at Navlakhi in Gujarat. This follows the withdrawal by the US-based Caltex from the project.

LML continues to be on a bumpy road
LML Limited's problems are far from over, even though the company has reported a 100% growth in net profit in the first half. A liability of over Rs 44 crore continues to be a drag on LML's bottomlines.

L&T in talks with Case Corp for joint venture
Larsen & Toubro is in talks with Case Corporation of the US for a joint venture in loader backhoes, which are used as earthmoving equipment in the construction industry. L&T-Case, will acquire the engineering major's Pithampur (Madhya Pradesh) works which makes loader backhoes and vibratory compactors.
