NSE to take up idemnity bond issue on July 1

The National Stock Exchange board will take up the contentious issue of furnishing of indemnity bonds by its members on July 1. The board will also consider a suggestion to exempt members from issuing an indemnity bond provided they agree to give an undertaking that all deliveries made by them will be pre-verified for fake shares by registrars at the exchange's clearing corporation.

ISESC firms up draft trading, settlement system plan

The Indian Stock Exchanges Services Corporation Ltd (ISESC) has finalised a draft trading and settlement system for its proposed inter-connected market system (ICMS). The draft spells out the trading methodology, and also the clearance, fund transfer and surveillance systems.

Coimbatore SE members allowed to furnish personal guarantee

The Coimbatore Stock Exchange (CSX) is unlikely to restrain its members from furnishing unlimited guarantee to other exchanges. Also, the exchange may not compel its 57 corporate members to furnish the indemnity.
