Philips plans price cut to make things better

[Details] Philips India has unveiled a marketing strategy which is a mix of price cuts, focus on design and improvement in sound quality for its audio business group. The move is aimed at increasing its market share to 40% for 1997-98.

[Details] TIL has reported a group profit of Rs 10.46 crore for the year to March 31, 1997, an increase of 38% over the previous year. The board has recommended a dividend of 25%.
