Cement industry to reduce power consumption

[Details] The Indian cement industry has fixed a target for this year to reduce power consumption to 72 kWh/tonne of cement produced as against the present average consumption of about 100 kWh, according to R Partha Sarathy secretary general, Cement Manufacturers' Association.
