No takers for regional stock exchange membership

[Details] The stock exchange authorities of five regional exchanges are finding it difficult to sell off their membership cards. Similar conditions prevail in a majority of the 15-odd regional bourses.

BSE gets uptight on use of name in prospectus

[Details] The Bombay Stock Exchange has asked all companies wishing to be listed on its exchange to obtain prior permission to use the BSE name in their prospectus/offer document. They will also need to provide a bank statement wherein the promoter's contribution received by the company is reflected at the time of applying for such permission.
