The stock exchange authorities of five regional exchanges are finding it difficult to sell off their membership cards. Similar conditions prevail in a majority of the 15-odd regional bourses.

BSE gets uptight on use of name in prospectus
The Bombay Stock Exchange has asked all companies wishing to be listed on its exchange to obtain prior permission to use the BSE name in their prospectus/offer document. They will also need to provide a bank statement wherein the promoter's contribution received by the company is reflected at the time of applying for such permission.

Slowdown in processing on NSE is windfall for some
