CHENNAI, July 13: CG VAK Software Exports Ltd is to launch CG VAK Financials, its enterprise resource planning product (ERP), in India soon.The product, already launched in the Gulf a few months ago, will also be marketed in the USA. The company has obtained RBI approval to set up a subsidiary in the USA.

Positioned alongside other products like Oracle Financials, BAAN and Ramco Systems' Marshall, CG VAK Software's strength lies in its Graphical User Interface, higher customisation and pricing, according to G Suresh, managing director.

The company has bagged a couple of orders worth Rs 1 crore in the Gulf. It expects to complete about six installations in the current year.

Suresh estimated that the size of the ERP market in the Gulf would be in the region of about Rs 50 crore.CG VAK recorded a turnover of Rs 1.75 crore last year.A revenue of about Rs 4.5 crore has been targeted for the current year.
