Mahindras, Bechtel in race for Tirupur project

[Details] The Hume group of Malaysia, Bi-Water of UK, Mahindra & Mahindra in association with Bechtel Corporation of US and Anglica Water of UK are among the consortia in the race for the Rs 1,314-crore Tirupur Area Development Project (TADP). The bidders have to respond by September 1 on the delivery price for water and other details and by December-end.

Jaipur Bharat sets up two ventures to supply auto majors

[Details] The Jai Bharat group, which already has a unit for supplying similar items to Maruti, will set up two plants for the supply of sheet metal to Hyundai Motor India and Mahindra Ford. These are to come up under two separate joint ventures with Sangoo and Krupp Camford respectively.
