Bombay Dyeing cuts corners, trims workforce by 5%

[Details] The Nusli Wadia-owned textile major Bombay Dyeing has reduced its workforce by 5% in 1996-97 through a voluntary retirement scheme aimed at slashing costs. Out of 10,000 employees in the company, around 500 persons have opted for voluntary retirement.

IBP paints town red with new logo

[Details] Indo-Burma Petroleum Company (IBP) is painting the town red with a new logo and product banner, "IBP Red".
