BSE nod for revision in Reliance debt book closure

[Details] The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has okayed the revision in the book closure of J and K series debentures sought by the Reliance Industries. The high interest outgo in the new interest regime has perhaps prompted Reliance to redeem both J and K series debentures.

HDFC Bank to clear settlements for OTCEI

[Details] HDFC Bank has been appointed as the clearing bank for the Over-the-Counter Exchange of India (OTCEI). In January, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) had appointed HDFC Bank as its clearing bank. At present, HDFC Bank handles around 25% of the total volume on NSE.
