NSE WDM trades worth Rs 248.52cr

Aug 17: The wholesale debt market (WDM) segment of NSE witnessed trades worth Rs 248.52 crore on Saturday. The interbank call rate was in the range of 8.25 to 9.25 per cent during the day. The 10.85 per cent government loan maturing in 2001 was traded for Rs 105 crore at a weighted yield of 10.63 per cent. The 12.59 per cent government loan maturing in 2004 was traded for Rs 25 crore at 11.08 per cent (weighted). The 15 per cent Reliance debentures maturing in 1999 was traded at 13.04 per cent. The 364-day T-Bill maturing in August 1998 was traded at 8.05 per cent. The week witnessed volumes of Rs 4000.30 crore against Rs 2674.12 crore last week with the highest ever volume of Rs 1831.27 crore on Tuesday and a low of Rs 248.52 crore on August 16. The average traded volume this week was Rs 800.06 crore as against Rs 534.82 crore last week.
