Chatterjee is executive director, RSS

Rockwell Semiconductor System (RSS) has appointed Jayanto Chatterjee as its executive director (business development) for the India region. The new responsibility will be in addition to Chatterjee's current position as vice-president and chief representative of Rockwell International Corporation. RSS supplies semiconductor solutions for personal computers and facsimile modems for office automation applications. Chatterjee will lead the RSS activities in India, including the company's design centre and in providing technology support to Indian manufacturers using Rockwell chips.

Chatterjee, 46, holds a Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering from Jadavpur University and a Master's degree in management systems from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. The California-based Rockwell Semiconductor Systems comprises of a multimedia communications division, a wireless communication division and a network access division.
