Indian Oil scouts for partners among domestic, MNC players

[Details] Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is scouting for partners among national and multinational power utilities to create 1,410 mw power projects based on unmarketable vaccum residue fuel from its refineries.

SEBs, power firms owe Coal India Rs 4,000 cr

[Details] State electricity boards and various power companies owe Coal India Ltd a whopping Rs 4,000 crore against coal supplied by CIL's seven subsidiaries. Almost half of this amount -- Rs 1,781.16 crore -- that is owed by 22 SEBs and power companies is in the disputed category.
