PUNE, Oct 6: Fleetguard filters will enter the after market for automotive filters with its first export order from the Japanese auto major Nissan.A 63:37 joint venture between the Pune-based Perfect Sealing Systems Pvt Ltd and Fleetguard Inc of the US ,the company has targeted the automotive filters market since its acquisition of QS 9000 certification recently.

Fleetguard Filters chairman Arun Kirloskar told reporters that the total domestic market for filters is worth Rs 750 crore, including the automotive filter market of Rs 500 crore. The company, currently, enjoys a 6 per cent share of the non-automotive filter market, and expects to post a turnover of Rs 100 crore in the next five years.
