BANGALORE, Nov 2: Mysore Breweries Ltd (MBL) has convened an extra-ordinary general meeting (EGM) on November 13 in Bangalore to hike the remuneration of the top brass and board of directors' kin. MBL, engaged in the manufacture of Knock Out beer, had recently arrived at a settlement with the trade union and revised the wages of all the workers recently.

Correspondingly, the salary and allowances of all the officers were also revised. Interestingly, the board of directors had earlier approved a hike in the remuneration of vice-president (personnel administration), S Kumar.
