UCO Bank announces voluntary retirement scheme for officers

[Details] The board of directors of UCO Bank have reviewed the criteria for service conditions and it has decided that an officer may seek voluntary retirement from the service of the bank if he has completed 20 years of service in the bank, or has attained the age of 50 years, or if he has become physically or mentally incapacitated in such a manner that he is not able to discharge his duties in the bank. It is the same scheme that the bank had introduced in 1984, with minor changes.

[Details] The Department of Management Studies of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, achieved a major landmark when in its first year of inception of MBA, two of its students--Ankur Dhingra and Gaurav Agarwal--won the first prize at the National Paper Presentation Competition (Delphique '97) organised by the Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
