REUTER

DUBAI, Nov 4: Leading British fashion house `Burberrys' is planning to have a franchisee in India for its exculsive line of products including apparel, handbags and accessories.``We are looking for a franchisee preferably in Delhi or Bombay '' Robert A Kerr, divisional sales director, burberrys told PTI.

The fashion house is planning an outlet in India, which is currently attracting leading names of haute couture in droves, but the prohibitive cost of space is an inhibitive factor, he said.

Kerr was in Dubai in connection with the opening of its new store at Diera city centre, one of the most popular shopping malls of Dubai.

Burberrys have a range of exclusive fashion apparels and gifts including formal and casual dress for both men and women, outerwear for both sexes accessories such as suit cases, hold-alls and travel cases.Burberrys also market perfumes, umbrellas and sunglasses.
