M&M plans petrol Voyager for exports market

[Details] Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) plans to introduce a petrol version of the nine-seater Voyager for the export market. The two-litre 4G63 engine will be imported from Mitsubishi Motor Corporation of Japan whose technical knowhow is being used for the vehicle.

[Details] International Consultant, Price Waterhouse plans to set up a compliance consulting cell to help corporates and banks meet high standards of disclosures. The company has commenced work in consultation with some banks to set up a model data warehouse which will capture transactional data and external data.

Nirma posts first-half net profit of Rs 79.75 crore

[Details] Nirma Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 79.75 crore for the six months ended September 30. The fully Indian-owned fast moving consumer good (FMCG) major is set to surpass the Rs 1,000 crore-turnover mark for the entire fiscal. The turnover and net profit shot up as a result of a merger last year, which consolidated the results of Nirma Ltd with that of its three group firms.
