[Details] Credit-rating agencies are facing a tough time after the recent Rs 1,200-crore CRB Capital Markets scandal. The scandal led to a spate of downgrading by the country's three rating agencies and the downgrading still continues.

[Details] The Assocham has duly called for a second wave of reform to reverse the deceleration in industrial growth and to revive business confidence. Its thrust is on such areas as fiscal deficit, governmental finance, social sector, infrastructural development, foreign trade and industrial policies.
