SRF first-half net slumps 93 per cent; profit tumbles 94%

SRF Ltd has recorded a massive drop of 93 per cent in its net profit at Rs 0.50 crore for the first six months of the current financial year as against Rs 7.61 crore registered in the corresponding period last year. SRF's operating profit for the first half of the current fiscal has also dipped by three per cent to Rs 88.64 crore.

Eicher Motors H1 net dips 45 per cent to Rs 1.46 crore

Eicher Motors Limited (EML) for the six months ended September 30, 1997 has recorded a massive drop of over 45 per cent in its net profit at Rs 1.46 crore compared to its previous corresponding period, according to a company release. The company also posted lower net sales at Rs 109 crore, as against Rs 125 crore in the previous corresponding period, a fall of around 13 per cent. Its other income dipped to Rs 6.3 crore from Rs 4.9 crore.
