Bangalore, Nov 7: Exhibitions India has organised an exhibition on ``Broadcast Cable & Satellite India'97'' (BCS'97) and a conference ``Communications India '97'' (CommsIndia '97). The events will be held simultaneously at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from December 9 to 11.

According to Exhibitions India president and managing director Prem Behl the event will include over 100 participants from Europe, America, India and other Asian countries.

BCS '97 will put together the latest technologies, novel applications and world class service providers, helping identify and develop strategic partnerships and beneficial revenue streams, he added. The event will highlight the growing TV software market and its potential by presenting a wide range of products to cater to the booming broadcasting industry.

CommsIndia '97 will cater to the users and providers of telecom in the country and the subcontinent covering broadcast and telephony, broadband and services, wireless technologies, multimedia, networks, datacom and videocom. A high level US delegation headed by William Daley, commerce secretary, will participate in the three-day event.
