Marketplace Breifings -- Amrutanjan unviels Agni capsule


The century-old market leader in health care segment Amrutanjan Ltd has unveiled its latest product -- Agni. Agni is an aphrodisiac capsule developed by the renowned Siddha doctors. The two major ingredients in Agni are Amber and Ashwagandha, which are to ensure energy level after a hectic day's work. Agni will come in packs of tens and will be priced at Rs 10 each.

MasterCard launches Maestro debit cards: Overseas Maestro cardholders can now use their debit cards at thousands of merchants in Singapore. The cardholders will now be able to use their Maestro cards at point-of-sale terminals in outlets such as major department stores, petrol stations and even post offices. The visitors no longer has to be limited to the cash in hand or fluctuations in foreign exchange. Whatever they spend will be automatically deducted from their bank accounts back home and electronically credited into the merchant's account.

Mobile refrigerator cum hotcase: Household goods manufacturer Kanchan International Ltd has launched a mobile refrigerator cum hotcase which can be fitted into cars, luxury buses, coaches and boats. The product is also positioned as ideal for offices, hotels, hospitals, chemist, shopkeepers, doctors and dispensaries. The refrigerator has 20 litres capacity and can carry 16 cold drink bottles or 9 mineral water bottles.

ITC unveils new Year Book: ITC Ltd has launched the Wills Made For Each Other Holidays Yearbook is an extension of the Wills Holidays, one of the first branded outbound holidays that have been conceptualised and implemented in the country. The yearbook is both a repository of essential and interesting information about popular destinations and a chronicle of one's own holiday experiences and the interesting people one meet while travelling.

Aquapure water purifier: Modi Hoover has launched Acquapure water purifiers which can be mounted in a corner or a flat wall surface. The water purifier, priced at Rs 5,695, has features such as automatic power shut off system and ultra violet indicator. It also has activated carbon and pre-filter to remove all impurities from the water.

Window coverings offer: Alps Industries Ltd, the makers of Vista Levolor range of window coverings, has introduced the soft window treatment - a fairly new concept in window dressing for home interiors for the first time in the country. Vista Levolor has introduced a series of innovations for top treatments of window dressing which provides a soft look to the window, enabling the use of Venetian and Vertical Blinds in the residential sector. This is going to revolutionise the segment.
