Zuari Agro Chemicals gets award for productivity

[Details] Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd has been selected by the National Productivity Council (NPC) for the "best productivity award" in fertiliser industry for 1995-96. The second best award in fertiliser industry goes to Indo-Gulf Fertilisers and Chemicals.

Dena Bank H1 net leaps 35% to Rs 62 crore

[Details] Dena Bank has clocked a 35% growth in its net profit for April-September 1997 at Rs 61.72 crore. The bank had posted a net profit of Rs 45.51 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. Despite over Rs 100 crore worth of recovery of bad loans, the bank's net non-performing assets (NPA) has, however, gone up marginally during this period.

Hero Honda to unveil 160cc four-stroke bike next year

[Details] Hero Honda Motors plans to launch a 160 cc four stroke bike priced around Rs 50,000 next year. This is the first four stroke bike which will be launched in this segment. The company has proposed an investment of Rs 100 crore in 1998-99.
