Short-term interest hike pushes one-month forwards to 9.10%

[Details] On Wednesday, one-month forwards closed at 9.10% (annualised) while six-month forwards at 8.45%. The 65 basis points rise than six-month forwards has come about after the Reserve Bank of India governor Bimal Jalan hiked short-term interest rates in the money market to curb speculative activity in the foreign exchange market.
