[Details] German giant Bayer AG on Friday suspended a long-frustrated proposal to build a $1.5-billion chemical plant in Taiwan, saying it would switch to a contingency site in Texas. Bayer now would pursue contingency plans to build the plant to make the chemical TDI in Baytown, Texas.
