Wigan & Leigh offers scholarships

Wigan & Leigh College (India) is offering scholarships to students taking admission for the undergraduate courses beginning in 1998. The scholarships will be decided on the basis of a test that will look into the aptitude of the aspirants.

There are eight types of scholarships on offer, one of which will be a total fee waiver for students recording the qualifying score of 85 per cent.The College has also initiated a number of career counselling sessions at various schools around the country.Wigan & Leigh College (India) offers courses in business administration which includes a DBA programme and an under-graduate programme on fashion technology. The College offers professional courses at the post-graduate level which includes a diploma in business management, with specialisation in finance and marketing.Wigan & Leigh courses are recognised by various British professional bodies, thus placing the students in India at par with international standards and qualifications.Wigan & Leigh (India) is now launching highly specialised courses in the fields of graphic design, hotel management and media studies. These courses are to be incorporated in Wigan & Leigh's curriculum from the next academic session in 1998.
