S McLean is CEO, president of BoydenSheila Avrin McLean has been named CEO and President of Boyden World Corporation, the oldest executive search firm in the world. The appointment is effective January 1, 1998. Ms McLean, who has resigned as President of the Association of Executive Search Consultants(AESC) is the first woman and only non-search consultant to head global search organisation. She will be based at the firm's executive offices in New York. Over the past four years, Sheila McLean transformed the AESC into a proactive organisation that demonstrated great leadership to the entire executive search profession. During her tenure, the association improved member services, increased the visibility of the profession in the national media and made progress in globalising the organisation. Prior to joining the AESC, she was vice president of the Institute of International Education,a $140 million non-profit international exchange agency. Boyden, the oldest executive search firm in the world,
recruits senior level executives on an international basis.
