New Delhi, Dec 29: An eight-line statement form 10, Janpath declaring Sonia Gandhi's decision to take `active interest' in party affairs on Monday raised cheers in the Congress and doubts over its president Sitaram Kesri's political future.The terse release signed by her private secretary Vincent George referred to demands by a large number of Congress workers that she should take active interest in the affairs of the party "which is at the moment passing through a very crucial phase".
