BoB scrip sheds 10% on BSE

NEW DELHI, Jan 28: The Bank of Baroda scrip shed 10 per cent on Wednesday's trading amid almost all the other bank scrips either holding steady or losing marginally. During the day, the scrip closed at Rs 90.25 compared with its previous close of of Rs 100.

Volumes, too, were high at 4.88 lakh. The day's high for the scrip was its opening quote of Rs 99. During the day, the Bank of India scrip improved marginally to Rs 34.25 from its previous close of Rs 33, while Oriental Bank of Commerce, at Rs 60.60 remained unchanged. On the losing side were banking major SBI (from Rs 239 to Rs 235), HDFC Bank (from 75 to 73), and Dena Bank (from 20 to 19.9).

Since its listing on BSE last year, the BoB scrip gained continuously to touch its 52-week high of Rs 176 on August 14. Since then, with occasional upswings, the scrip has been on a downtrend.
