Murli Manohar Joshi demanded that the United Front government make public the `facts' relating to the Bofors gun deal. "People will like to know the facts relating to the bofors case and the government must make them public," he said.Joshi also took exception to what he called as `callous silence' being maintained by Sonia Gandhi after raising the Bofors issue.Asked whether the BJP was `worried' with Sonia Gandhi campaigning for the Congress, Joshi said, "Congress is a sinking ship and now put on oxygen....Even Soniaji can not give a new lease of life to˙the defunct party."He also asked the Congress president, Sitaram Kesri, to clarify as to "under what circumstances he (Kesri) declared Sonia as his party's prime ministerial candidate."
