Sreedharan to be on ICSI panelV Sreedharan, Chairman, The Institue of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), Bangalore chapter for 1997, has been nominated by the ministry of finance, Department of Company Affairs, New Delhi, as a government nominee on the central council of the institute for a term of three years, effective January 1, 1998.
Gopalakrishnan new Wipro Acer deputy CEO
Bharath Gopalakrishnan, 42, has joined Wipro Acer as Deputy Chief Executive. Prior to this assignment, Gopalakrishnan was working with Acer Computer International Limited, where he looked after the channel marketing for Asia Pacific, Middle East, North Africa, Israel and Turkey. He has over 16 years of experience in marketing and channel management. A BE in mechanical engineering from REC, Trichy, Gopalakrishnan is an MBA from the Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University.
Chandrappa is SIRC chairman
M Chandrappa has been elected as chairman of the SIRC of the Institute of Company Secretariesof India for 1998. He was Chairman of the Bangalore chapter during 1992-94. He is also the General Manager and Secretary, Electrex (India) Ltd, Bangalore.
