Braganza is Orchid corporate GM

Delyse Braganza has recently joined The Orchid Hotel in Mumbai as a corporate general manager, marketing and sales. A post-graduate in Personnel and Marketing Management, Braganza has been in the hotel industry for 10 years.

Prior to joining the Orchid, Braganza has worked with the Raheja group of hotels and the Fariyas group of hotels. The Orchid is Asia's first certified eco-friendly five-star hotel and has been certified by HVS Eco Services, a US-based environmental consulting firm dedicated exclusively to the hospitality industry.

Rajesh Jhingon moves to The Oberoi, Delhi

Rajesh Jhingon, who was till now an Executive Assistant Manager at The Oberoi, Mumbai, has moved to The Oberoi, New Delhi. Jhingon, who holds a Masters degree from Cornell Essec University in Paris and is a graduate from The Oberoi Center of Learning & Development, has had a successful career with the group since 1986.

The Oberoi group operates in six countries with 30 propertiesincluding the luxury Oberoi hotels and the first class international Trident Hotels. The group is also engaged in flight catering, airport restaurants and tour services, project management and corporate air charters.

K P Singh is MD, RITES

K P Singh has taken over as the new Managing Director of RITES. Singh has been with the Indian Railways for the last 32 years and was earlier Chief Engineer, Eastern Railway.

During his past association with RITES, Singh represented RITES in Iraq and Botswana. As Chief Civil Engineer with Botswana Railways, he was selected as a member of civil sub-committee of Southern Africa Transport and Communication Commission (SATCC). Singh was associated with the prestigious Hughes Economic Planning for development of Technical Manual for South African member countries.

Singh has extensive experience in the development and operation of the railway systems. He was closely associated with the mega project of gauge conversion and successfully handled multi-disciplinarytasks involving civil, electrical, signalling and construction activities.
