Volvo bus stops at Chennai for a demonstartion
The Volvo B1OBLE, displayed at the Auto Expo in New Delhi, rolled into Chennai for a demonstration of the low-floor city bus concept. The bus, which has been fitted with an air suspension system, can increase or decrease its floor height at the touch of a button. Designed specifically for city traffic, the bus is said to have a life of 16 to 20 years. "It is only a concept now and we are keen on demonstrating it," Volvo India Private Ltd's business development manager Akash Passey told reporters on board the bus on Friday.

BOLT share at 33% of BSE's turnover
Trading on the Bombay Stock Exchange On-line Trading System (BOLT) has reached 33 per cent of total trading, according to BSE president M G Damani. Of the total 104,073 trades on the exchange on Thursday, 32,629 trades were transacted through the BOLT.
