CALCUTTA, March 3: The Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) has invited presidents of various chambers here on March 5 to draft a common charter of recommendations for the new government.The heads of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Calcutta, Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Mumbai, Southern Indian Chamber of Commerce, Chennai, Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Bangalore, Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Ahmedabad as well as the Indian Merchants Chamber and the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry are expected to attend the meet.
An ICC release said, the memorandum will set down the initial tasks of the new government. The presidents of the participating chambers will meet the new prime minister and finance minister to present the charter.
