The National Alliance of young entrepreneurs (NAYE) joined in 1967 to reflect the aspirations of first generation entrepreneurs. After liberalisation, NAYE promoted FISME as a representative body of small and medium scale enterprises in1995 to address challenges of an economy that was just opening up.
