Noorani elected president of CEUCCI

M Y Noorani, chairman of the House of Zodiac, has been elected president of the Council of EU Chambers of Commerce in India (CEUCCI) for the current year. He succeeds K R Ehrnreich, who left India on an overseas assignment. Noorani's election as president took place at the meeting of the governing board of the council held earlier this month. Noorani has also been associated with a number of organisations such as the Federation of Indian Export Organisations, World Trade Centre, Indo-Indonesia Friendship Society and Export Credit and Guarantee Corporation.

Cama is new deputy CEO of Hong Kong Bank India

Zahir J Cama has been appointed as the deputy chief executive officer of Hong Kong Bank in India with effect from March 16 this year. Cama comes to this assignment after ten years of overseas appointments in different subsidiaries of the HSBC group. Cama began his banking career in 1967 and joined the HSBC group in 1968. after training in the London officefor two years, he was transferred to India. He headed the first ever independent treasury function in Hong Kong Bank in the country and was later made manager in Delhi.
