"The aim of the Rural Reach programme is to try to bridge the ever-expanding gap between rural and urban children andgive them the necessary start and confidence to come to terms with computers," ITL CMD NR Narayana Murthy said. "Students will be told about the discipline needed to communicate with a highly rule-bound computer, followed by important applications which affect everyday life, even in rural India", said HN Mahabala, advisor-education & research, Infosys.
