Here is one segment of the Indian populace which is not very enthused by the exchange offers which continually hit the Indian consumer electronics market. For many a second-hand electronics dealer has been pushed into a tight corner by the high prices offered by companies for old units, be it refrigerators or colour televisions.
Channel V, Star Plus to be digitally encrypted soon
Star Plus and Channel V, two of the three free-to-air channels from the Rupert Murdoch stable, are being digitally encrypted by May-end. This is the first step towards their conversion into pay channels. Star Sports and Star Movies are already operating as pay channels.

The 304-page book, titled, `Barbarians led by Bill Gates: Microsoft from the inside,' paints a very different picture of Microsoft than the one normally sketched by Microsoft executives and followers of the company.
Honda to expand minicar line soon
Honda Motor Co will begin offering taller, roomier mini-type station wagons and sports-utility vehicles in October. Another station wagons model is expected to be added next spring. Honda also plans to market a new commercial model next year, while continuing to produce its life nameplate.
