Netscape, Excite Inc tie the knot for new search site
Netscape Communications Corp and Excite Inc have agreed to collaborate on Internet content and search services in a partnership they expect to generate millions of dollars in online advertising revenues. The companies, two of the most popular gateways to the Internet, said that the deal will help them both compete with other big names like America Online and Microsoft, even as they continue to work separately to build their own brands.

Pharma retailers unite to beat the big boys at their game
Eighteen retail shops around town have started sporting the new-look signboard with a double C and the ubiquitous red cross. Sales attendants wear similar uniforms. All of them boast of standard features like a resident pharmacist to advise on drugs, dosages, storage, the right way to take them, contra-indications and precautions to be taken.

Wipro home computers to be launched soon
Wipro Acer Ltd plans to launch the Wipro range of home computers shortly. The computers, which are yet to be branded, will complement Acer's Aspire range of home computers already present in the market. Wipro Acer is the 55:45 joint venture between the Bangalore-based infotech major Wipro Infotech and the $6.5-billion Acer Corporation of Taiwan.

Modules on offer from University of Strathclyde
After the April module, the University of Strathclyde Graduate Business School is offering another executive programme in October. It is now possible to register for the programme based on the skills needed in your particular area of work. These modules will be held along with the full-time MBA programme in Mumbai and Delhi.
