The new service is part of Netscape's recently-announced ``Project 60'' to expand its Netcenter Web site into a broad service for consumer and business users.

``Small business represents a strong and growing market, with many companies eager to learn how they can leverage the Internet to their competitive advantage,'' said executive vice president and general manager Mike Homer of Netscape's Netcenter division.

``The Small Business Source is designed to meet this need by providing a single destination on our Netcenter portal site where eventhe smallest company can...conduct business over the Internet.''
