"No more nuke tests"

PRESS TRUST OF INDIA
May 16: India does not plan any more nuclear tests, prime minister Atal Behari Vajpayee said on Saturday. Reaffirming that India was a nuclear weapon power, Vajpayee said that the country expected a better understanding of its security interest from the United States.

"We expected a better understanding of our security interest" from the US, he said in an interview to Outlook newsmagazine, responding to a question on president Bill Clinton describing India's nuclear tests as a "terrible mistake."
