P&G sells three detergent brands to Cussons India
Procter & Gamble Home Products Ltd has sold out three detergent brands Ezee, Trilo and Key to Cussons India Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of global soaps, personal care and detergents major Cussons International Ltd. These brands were originally acquired from Godrej Soaps by Procter & Gamble (P&G) in the year 1993.

Hydel policy may propose 19% return on equity

Other income keeps down loss of Baroda Rayon at Rs 29 crore
The Gaekwad-owned Baroda Rayon Corporation's has reported a net loss of Rs 29.11 crore for the year ended March 31, 1998, against Rs 19.83 crore (net loss) during the same period last year. The loss would have been much higher but for a whopping 142.37 per cent rise in other income arising from the sale of its office floor to the Industrial Finance & Leasing Services (IL&FS) for Rs 11 crore.
