Ircon International gets mini ratna status

NEW DELHI, June 14: The state-owned construction company Ircon International Ltd (Ircon) has been granted "mini ratna" status by the railway ministry. The ministry has done this in terms of liability and classification prescribed by the department of public enterprises under the industry ministry, an official release said here on Sunday. With this, Ircon becomes the first public sector unit under the railway ministry to come under category one of the central government public sector enterprises.
