The company's board of directors at its meeting here on Monday declared a dividend of 35 per cent, as compared to 22 per cent last year. While the Ahmedabad-based company's gross profit increased from Rs 7.38 crore to Rs 11.75 crore during this period, the earning per share also increased from Rs 9.28 to Rs 15.06 over the same period. According to managing director Hemant Modi, the company, which was so far engaged in executing civil and structural works for corporate clients, has decided to undertake infrastructure projects as well, looking to the manifold increase required in this sector in the new economic order.

It also proposed to reinforce its technological know-how, needed for timelycompletion of larger projects. It has already bid for road flyover projects in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and other cities, light rail transit system in Bangalore and Gujarat Torrent Energy Ltd.
